As most of you know I don’t use a huge range of knives. Some of the knives that are in a knife block you may never use. I don’t use this knife a lot but it really comes in handy for some jobs. Like removing strawberry stems, skin from kiwi fruit, eyes from potatoes or for special occasions to barrel shape your veg.
I don’t use a regular Paring knife, this one takes its place. In the chef industry, there’s a saying that gets bandied about, I’m sure you’ve heard it. “Spend as much money as you can afford on a knife and it will last forever”. Well, I don’t think that’s the case for all knives. This one, in particular, is one that’s not a lot of money and you’ll love it.
Anyway if you grab one of these knives, start to use it, you’ll find yourself grabbing it for all sorts of little fiddly jobs.
