Bake Club, ebook, Thermomix and Conventional

Well, it has been a while, but I’ve finally written a new ebook.   I’ve written it in Conventional and Thermomix format, so you can choose which you need.  They’re full of brilliant recipes and photos from last terms Bake Club.

So if you’ve always wanted to join us, but have never been able to get here, why not download this ebook.

A little about the recipes

This term we’ve done a few things that would be brilliant for Christmas, but they’d also be great any time of year.  All these recipes are easy enough so that they can be started and finished within two hours.  Tried and tested by the girls from Bake Club.  Their time starts, walking through the door, choosing a recipe, (welcoming hugs and chats) weighing ingredients, mixing, pouring, baking and cleaning up.  Oh, most of the time we have coffee or tea too.

I choose these recipes because they don’t have lengthy procedures.  Especially for the girls on a Wednesday night.  Most of them come straight from work, I’m sure the last thing they want to do is make a complicated recipe.

I always say “Always read the recipe first”.  Don’t think a recipe is hard if there are lots of instructions or lots of ingredients.  It may just mean that the person writing the recipe has assumed you know nothing and has told you everything.

After all, if I said

“Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs in one at a time.  Blend in the flour mix alternating with the liquid.”

That would be all the instruction you would need if you baked butter cakes regularly.  Because in a nutshell that is how you do it.  Some like or need a little more guidance than that.

FREE - Bake Club Conversion chart (Bec's Table) Private: Rebecca McLeod

  • When making new recipes the ratios of cups and tablespoons can be quite different depending on what part of the world you live in. Check out why this is the baking conversion chart we go to when converting tablespoons, teaspoons and cups into grams. It's our go-to list when we don't have time to measure as we go.  If you can't find what you're looking for, think of something that's similar. Like honey, for example, it weights the same as jam, maybe you're looking for something with a similar consistency and weight to something on our list??? Have fun in the kitchen.
