Here we are promoting our school and the Thermomix

Christine and Silvana manning the stand early Sunday morning.
We had a huge response with one of the ladies in the Chemist telling me that she hasn’t seen a stall so busy.  With people looking at the Thermomix or finding out about the cooking school.
We weren’t actually selling anything over the week, just showing people what we do and what we have available.

How we promoted the cooking school
With my cooking school we gave out Free Raffle tickets to enter the draw to win one of 3 double passes to classes at the cooking school.  This was a great opportunity for us to ask people in the area what sort of classes they would be interested in coming along to learn.  If you are interested in classes with us, just click on the classes page to see what’s available at the moment.

How we promoted the Thermomix
For people interested in looking at the Thermomix we offered them to come to a cooking class at the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick on Wednesday Evening the 12th of October 2011 if your interested you just need to call Bron to make the booking. Pst me for her number if your interested.  We do cooking classes once every 6 to 8 weeks in the area for our new and interested customers.
The cost is $15 for the night, what you get for that is you’ll see many of the Thermomix functions and there will be lots of samples to taste as they come out of our amazing mobile kitchen.

Some of the things we were showing people were;

CADA (breakfast or snack food made from Coconut, Almond, Date and Apple Yum),

Chocolate alternative,
Soup,
Sorbet,
Sticky date pudding with custard,
Pistachio, Lemon and Yogurt cake,
Carrot Cake,
Orange drizzle cake,
Gingerbread biscuits
Carrot cake
Orange Drizzle cake
Shortbread cookies

All though we made all of these items in the Thermomix, they can be made by hand.  Want the recipes just let me know and I will get them to you.
