Amazing Cakes from Bec’s Table Bake Club

Last term in Bake Club, we made these Amazing Cakes. I thought I’d throw out a bit of a challenge, and the girls loved it. Phew.  I’m so proud how these cakes turned out.  Some were a huge challenge, but even after a bit of cussing, we all deemed them to be brilliant.

I thought we’d make some more complicated cakes, cakes that take over two hours to make.  The first meeting we made the cakes and the second meeting we make the fillings, toppings and decorations.

Next year (2017) in the first term of Bake Club we’ll be doing it again.  I’ll choose another eight brilliant cakes from my patisserie folder so the girls can create more masterpieces.  Each time you bake something you become more confident due to learning or mastering techniques.  These girls need to be on Master Chef.   What do you think?

If you’re interested in joining our Bake Club, we have Morning groups that go from 10:30 am till around 12:30 am and evening groups that start at 6:30 pm and finish around 8:30 – 9 pm.

Another term of fabulous bake club over. I cannot believe how much I have learned. All the little tips and help has produced loads of successes in my kitchen. We have made a huge variety of cakes, biscuits, slices and savoury items as well. I made five different types of cake and slices for presents for father’s day, all using the recipes and putting together my knowledge Bec has taught me. In the past, I would never have attempted half these things. My confidence has grown from a 1 to at least an 8. Bec has a unique style of teaching, it is done in such a friendly atmosphere, and she is always on hand to share her knowledge (of which there is an abundance), and no question is left unanswered. Thank you once again Bec and cannot wait until next term.
